My name is Cara.

I write.

I was born February 18, 1985. That makes me 24 years old as of this posting. I’m a stereotypical Aquarius, but I generally think horoscopes are bullshit.

I got married October 31, 2008. In a courthouse. In Chicago. $35 weddings are the way to go.

I was raised in Charlotte, NC. I now live in beautiful Traverse City, MI.

I’ve recently discovered a fantastic recipe for cornbread, so I’m a little less homesick than I used to be.

I studied History and Political Science at Florida State University. I miss school. I get choked up and nostalgic whenever I’m in the History section of a bookstore. Libraries are even worse.

I’m a liberal. In a big way.

I like comic books and regular books. I watch a lot of Sci-Fi and documentaries. I spend too much time on the internet. I suck at video games.

I was made 6 inches too short for this world.
